The Yorke Trust Directions and Parking

The Yorke Trust is on the B1355 (the road between Fakenham and Burnham Market), on the north end of South Creake, which is a very long village.

If travelling from Fakenham the Yorke Trust is on the right, about 150 meters after passing the war memorial on your left.

There is a sign on the building (only visible if coming from the south) the turning into the driveway is very sharp.

The life drawing is in the former Methodist chapel set back on the left.

There are several possibilities :

Once in the driveway there is a sloped track leading up to the orchard area. There is space in the orchard for many cars.

But a warning…if we have had a lot of rain the ground can become a little boggy, in which case stick to the right side near the track.

On the opposite side of the road from the entrance is a lay-by large enough for two cars.

Just past the gateway for the Yorke Trust is a turning sign-posted to the church. This is a single track road and ideal to park on if the ground is boggy and only a very short walk back to the chapel.
