During the summer I offer a number of one-off workshops which are open all. They encompass a range of medium, subject matter and techniques.

Exploring Colour And Form
Saturday 3rd August
Exploring colour and form. Using acrylics to paint an all white still-life. This day provides valuable insights and experience into colour mixing and tonal values. This was a very successful workshop last year. See photos from last years class in the gallery.

Drawing From A Large And Abundant Still-Life
Wednesday 7th August
There will be a wide range of art materials available, in order to really enjoy drawing from this still-life, on A1 paper.

Drawing The Clothed Model
Monday 12th August
This class is in response to popular demand, giving the opportunity to either focus on the head and shoulders or draw the full figure clothed in a quiet setting. There will be a wide range of drawing materials and papers available.

Painting The Clothed Figure In An Elaborate Setting
Sunday 18th August
Using acrylics and looking at the work of artists such as Matisse to paint a figure in a colourful and ornamented surrounding. This was a very successful workshop last year. See photos from last years class in the gallery.
